About Me

My photo
I am a young aspiring photographer in the Midwest. I love being outside either mountain biking down a rough muddy single track or snowboarding down a mountain with fresh new powder. I love laughing and being spontaneous. Horses are a new passion of mine and I hope to show someday soon. But my deep deep passion since I was little is photography. I love to take pictures of anything from morning dew on red satin roses to big ole muddy Ford trucks boggin through the mud. I love wildlife photography as well as model/portrait photography. I also photograph families, engagements/couples, weddings and maturity. You name it, I probably like taking pictures of it. Just ask! :)

Fixie

One of my good friends, Rob, made me a fixed gear bike. Its pretty badass! So we decided to take pictures of it somewhere interesting. So we went off the side of the road by an old barn, I think. Some say it might have been an old school house. We had a ton of people honking at us. lol anyway, I used the sunlight as the main source of light. I like natural light especially because its fall and it goes with the changing colors of the leaves. Enjoy! :)

Ole Greg Voris Had a Farm

Sunday afternoon Ben (my boyfriend) and I went down to his mom's house to celebrate his birthday, which is this Wednesday. So we drive an hour and half down passed Indy.

Needless to say, he is a country boy... He worked for his next door neighbor for six years who just so happened to be a farmer. So Benny decided to take me to see the farm he called home for the six years he worked there. Boy was it literally a farm! There were peacocks, horses, chickens, pigs, dogs/wolves and I'm sure many other little critters. The sun was begining to set and I went crazy. Even though I only took 140 pictures, which I think isn't very many in a two hour period, Farmer Greg thought it was a ton. I want to go back and take some more pictures especially at sunset. These horses were gorgeous. The brownish/red horses were Belgians and the darker horses were Percherons. He uses them for show and some farm work such as manure spreading. They're one of his "biggest" hobbies!

This little guy, only two months old, is named Bussi (i beleive). He looooooved attention and if he didn't get it 24/7 he would try to bite the hell outta ya.

This is one of my favorite pictures. -- bond between a horse and his caretaker.
