About Me

My photo
I am a young aspiring photographer in the Midwest. I love being outside either mountain biking down a rough muddy single track or snowboarding down a mountain with fresh new powder. I love laughing and being spontaneous. Horses are a new passion of mine and I hope to show someday soon. But my deep deep passion since I was little is photography. I love to take pictures of anything from morning dew on red satin roses to big ole muddy Ford trucks boggin through the mud. I love wildlife photography as well as model/portrait photography. I also photograph families, engagements/couples, weddings and maturity. You name it, I probably like taking pictures of it. Just ask! :)

What a country boy does on a Saturday afternoon

I went down to Batesville, IN with Alex. He took me squirrel hunting but only saw 3 squirrels. We did see about 15 turkeys and 8-9 deer! After hunting we went to help his dad cut wood. These pictures were taken acouple weeks ago with the d7000 I was able to borrow. Love the crisp clear quality! Enjoy! :)

D7000 :)

So I had the pleasure of playing with the new Nikon d7000. I absolutly loved it! I love the way it feels and the quality of the pictures! I think I may have to buy one this summer! :) Here are the results. Nikki was my model and these pictures were taken with my 35mm f/1.8 in West Lafayette. Enjoy.

This picture isnt composed the greatest but I wanted to show how awesome of pictures you can take when you know how to use manual settings. I didn't have a tripod so the model is a bit blurry but the blur of the train in the background is awesome!

Barbarossa Family Photos

Stephanie is an old friend whom I haven't seen in years! She contacted me about taking her baby boys first pictures! So I headed out to Coffee Creek in Chesterton/Porter area to meet her new boy, Blake, and her husband. Here are a few of the pictures I took of Blake and the family. Enjoy! :)

This was the point where Blake had enough.. and was barely showing us his gorgeous smile. But we worked with what he gave us! Hes such a cute little guy!
